Max Planck 6000 — What is it?

MP6000 is Nemo’s most powerful production dive light, delivering a jaw-dropping 6000 lumens with 100-watt total power capability. It’s one of the most powerful of its kind—built for underwater filming and nighttime search & rescue.

With three output settings (25%, 50%, 100%), you can quickly match brightness to the task. A wide 120° beam with an intensive center makes underwater illumination a breeze. Additional color modes include a blue fish-attractor, a static red for pro photography and color balancing, and a flashing red mode.

Built from aircraft-grade anodized aluminum and powered by an energy-efficient battery, Max Planck 6000 can dive to 100 m and runs for up to 1 hour at the highest setting. Ideal for wide-angle illumination, professional photo/video, and search & rescue.

Is it hard to operate?

Before use, ensure the rear cap is screwed on tightly for solid battery contact.

Controls

You’ll find two buttons: the left controls the white light; the right controls the red and blue modes.

• White light (left button): press once to turn on; cycles through 3 brightness levels (high, medium, low).
• Hold ~4 seconds to turn the white light off.
• Color modes (right button): press once for static red, again for blinking red, and a third time for blue.
• Hold ~4 seconds to turn the color light off.

You can run the white light and one color mode simultaneously. To power down completely, turn off each side separately by holding each button ~4 seconds.

• DON’T over-work or over-drain the battery.
• If the grinder stops and LEDs blink rapidly, it’s temperature protection—let it cool.
• If it stops with no LED flicker, the battery is weak. Don’t restart—recharge.
• DON’T store Li-Po batteries connected to the grinder for more than 24 hours.
• DO check that the O-rings at the battery interface are present before every use.
